You are then going to put the silicone top in there and put it in the microwave. It can take about two to four minutes just keep an ear out for once the popping starts to slow and then you can take it out. The top will move up with it. I like the handles on the side. It makes it easy to get out of the microwave. You now are free to add a little extra oil, salt, spices. I like putting salt, cinnamon, and sugar. It is so good and can now be taken anywhere in the house that you're wanting to enjoy whether you're just relaxing, watching something, working on the computer. It's a great thing to have by your side as a snack. The best part is because it's collapsible it is so easy to store.
