It has double padded cushion all over. It comes with an ottoman as well. It is easy glide as you can see, very smooth. You do get storage pockets on the side of your arms. These are removable, easy to wash, throw all your cushions inside a washing machine. It's solid wood base. The wood comes in different colors as well as the cushion. I just love how comfortable it is to just sit back, relax and walk. And that's my point of view.
