Hey, I'm Katie with WTI. I am really picky with the lighting that goes into my home. When I found this floor lamp by YHTlaeh, I knew that I had to have it and that it was a perfect fit for my home. I absolutely love the look of brushed gold accents. It has a fun mid-century modern style. I really like that they chose to do the globe lighting with an opaque glass. It makes it much more warm and inviting. The light bulbs that are used for this are very bright, so it helps to tone the light down a little bit. I like that it's not a directional lamp, shedding light only one way. I did end up putting this in the corner of our bedroom. It is our main light for the room, but putting it in the corner helps focus some of the light to the wall and make it an even softer, cozier light. It has a nice weighted bottom somewhere between 5 and 10 pounds, so I don't have to worry about it tipping over in our carpeted bedroom, but it also has grips so that if you are putting it on a hard surface floor, it won't slide around either. Everything was very carefully packaged, especially the globes. There was no breakage or chips. This lamp looks so good in our home. I love having it. I love the amount of light that it gives off, and that's my point of view.
