The top layer is a thicker material and the bottom layer is thinner but they are both so soft. You want to just wrap up in them and go to sleep. I've never felt anything like this. It feels like rabbit fur or something. It's just amazing. So I love the size of it. I love that it will cover all of my body and my husband's body. I'm only 5'3 but he's like 6'1 and he still, we fight over it in the evenings. The whole family fights over it actually about who's gonna get to snuggle with it in the evenings. It comes in many different colors. I got gray to match my living room. I also like how durable it is. Like I say, we fight over this thing almost every night. And there's no rips, there's no tears, nothing. It's holding up perfectly. Another thing I love about it is how warm it is.
