I've had them for about a year and three months and I have dropped them several times and they don't even get scuffed. They are pretty durable. I love the fact that you can even put long earrings on it and it still hangs very pretty and displays your earrings nicely. I use these for my jewelry business and I am always online sharing my jewelry really up close with a macro lens and these really do very well in sharing jewelry online. I do love that they're weighted so that they don't tip over. They're just perfect for that. But you could also use these on your dresser to display your favorite earrings so that you could wear them more. I really love them and I use them all the time but that's just my point of view.
