Some things that made me choose this for him are number one that it's not flashy but it has a really sleek and modern look. My husband doesn't like blingy things so the stainless steel necklace is understated but still very masculine and beautiful and this obsidian gemstone has its own life to it. It's not like staring into a black hole. We got the standard 22 inch chain. You can see that it hits a little bit below the collarbone on my husband but millennia has other chain lengths depending on what look you want. This is really well made to the point where my husband doesn't actually even take it off. He wears it while he's sleeping or even taking a shower and there's been no tarnishing.
