This one is 36 by 48 and it is a great size for my 5 and 7 year old. What I like about it is that the cover is super soft and machine washable. So it has a zipper here and the quilt, the weighted quilt part is actually on the inside. It has the little ties here where you can actually tie it so it doesn't get all bunched up but it's easy to take the cover off, throw it in the washing machine and then put it back on. And if you have kids, the more things that are machine washable the better. This is a gray color. They have a lot of different colors depending on what color you like but honestly, not even just for the kids. The 5 pounds for me, like if I'm just curled up on the couch, is actually really cozy too. It's a good size for a lap blanket. If you're looking for a weighted blanket, I highly recommend them. They are really great quality and I think you'll really like them and that's my point of view.
