As you can see, I have some water in here and I firmly close the lid and nothing is coming out. So if you have a small child that is maybe learning how to drink out of a cup or they're older and they just spill things, this cup is great. So you can see it's pretty easy to open, but it also seals really tight. So if your kid is trying to open it, they're going to have a hard time opening it by themselves. And the straw on the inside comes apart and that's how it is spill proof. And it's got a really nice plastic top here. It's beveled, so it's going to be comfortable for your kid to drink from. Overall, I highly recommend this cup from Contigo. It is great because it does not spill, it's leak proof. I was wondering if it was really going to be leak proof because so many cups claim that they are and then your kid gets ahold of it and it's like spilling all over the place. Well, this one is leak proof. As you can tell, nothing comes out. And that's my point of view.
