Transcript
Hi, I'm Brittany with WTI and I think it's important to play games that make your brain work. So I really like the Mettile Games BLINK card game. We got this for my niece. We wanted to make sure that we played games that actually trained her to use different cognitive abilities and this does such a great job. It's like the card game speed, but it uses shapes, color, and number. So you are looking for these three categories in determining which card you're going to put down and you have to do it fast. So you split the deck between however many players you have. You have three cards in your hand and you have one card face down between all the players. Now, when everyone's ready, you have your three cards in hand, you flip your card, and now you can play on anyone's card. So if you have a one purple star and you see a yellow circle, but it's just one, you can put it down because that's the number. Or if you see a purple diamond, even if it's five, put it down because it's purple. And last, if you have five green stars, you can put that again down because even though it's not the same color or number, it is the same shape. So you have to do all of this. You have to remember all of these categories at the same time and move as fast as you can to get rid of your deck or pile of cards. It really does a great workout for your mind. It is a great game. It's an easy thing to store, take out, play. Everyone has a good time with it, whether you're fast or slow. So it's a lot of fun for families, for friends. I think it's a great thing to just have in your game bin and that's my point of view.
