It's specifically made for cardboard crafting so it cuts clean controlled lines way easier than scissors. You can do straight lines, curves, and even circles if you have a little bit more detailed builds. It also comes with these awesome practice templates. He made the planes right away and we're flying them around. It also includes extra tools that can be used and they store right inside the machine too. I love that this creates independence and creativity for my son. He can create on his own and it's been really fun to see what he comes up with.
