They are authentic acacia wood as well for the handles. They are amazing. I have to rave about how great these are when they say nonstick. I'm able to flip eggs without breaking them. I use them just this morning as well for my pancakes. Right now I am using one. It is a five piece set. I am using one of them for my potatoes as I'm stirring them in my stove as well with the olive oil and everything. You can see how smooth they move around without even sticking to the bottom.
