The built-in elastic will keep all of your clothes snug and if you should choose to use it for a laptop bag you can fit a 17 inch laptop in here. And I love the adjustable handle. It's hidden when you're not in use but when you need it you can use it to wheel around your luggage and when you decide to use it as a backpack you just pull out these shoulder pads after you unzip them from the back. It's got a little piece of velcro on here. You stick it to the bottom of your backpack and then you just tighten it up and you're ready to go.
