ZINUS Lorelai Platform Bed Frames

Hi there, I'm Christy with WTI. Recently, my 10-year-old wanted to change his bedroom around a little bit. He is maturing and he wanted his bedroom to reflect that. So we found this awesome black platform bed frame from ZINUS. This is the Lorelei and he loves it and so do I. He wanted a black frame. He's got black walls in his room. So this was perfect for him and he wanted simple. Platform beds are very simple in style. I personally like them because you can set them up however you want. So we have his set up sort of like a day bed, but you can turn it the more traditional way as well. He likes it this way because it doesn't break up the space in his bedroom as much. This sits 14 inches off the ground, which is awesome because it makes it really easy to vacuum and clean underneath. This is the second bed frame we've got from ZINUS. One thing I really love is that assembly is always very clear and very simple. It feels very sturdy. Another detail that they add to their platform beds I've noticed is they have a peel and stick adhesive. That makes such a huge difference and ensuring that the mattress doesn't slide off since this is a platform style bed and there's no kind of lip. Another bonus for a platform bed for a child specifically is it makes making the bed really easy. He had a bunk bed before this. I could never get him to make his bed because bunk beds are hard to make. This is so simple. He makes his bed in the morning. He doesn't get frustrated and that makes me so happy. So I think this is modern, stylish, simple. It's the perfect bed frame for him to grow into and it's very functional. We love it and that's our point of view.
