Shelly Flood Sensors

Hey guys, it's Alicia with WTI and this Shelly flood sensor is an easy way to bring a little peace of mind to your home. So we got a two pack of these smart water leak detectors. They work via wi-fi. They have three metal conductors on the bottom and when they come in contact with something conductive like water they will alarm as well as send alerts to your phone and it is so nice to know that you can monitor any sort of water leaks even if you're away. So they work really well with the Shelly app and it's super easy to connect everything. You can also use it with Google and Alexa. The app shows you the temperature and other information about the location of your sensor so you can monitor for any changes and you can customize the types of notifications and when you will receive them. So this app is really user-friendly and easy to integrate into the other devices in your home. It uses a single battery on the inside and it's very easy to set up. There's also a waterproof gasket around the outside so that's going to keep the inner components working well even if there is a flood. So the way that it works is the three metal prongs when they come in contact with something conductive like water they will send the alarm and send the alerts to your phone. We keep these under our laundry area. We also keep one in the garage and plan to put some more in as well. Here's what it sounds like when it comes in contact with something conductive like this stainless steel sink for demonstration purposes. The notifications come to the phone immediately and then we can go investigate. So that's why we are so happy to have this flood sensor in our home and that's my point of view.
