Regalo Adjustable Baby Gate & Play Yard

Hi, I'm JT with WTI and I want to tell you how this Regalo super wide safety gate was an inexpensive and quick alternative to building a wall. Our kids playroom is right off the front door and the dogs would come in and ruin toys and sometimes the toys would spill out into the front door. So we needed a solution to separate the two areas. The opening was a wide non-standard length. So I was really happy we could make this gate work with some creativity. The instructions state you have to add or remove extensions and pairs if you want it to work as it was designed. After moving and bending it this way and that, I found a position that would land each end where you would mount it on studs. First I secured, but didn't tighten the gate entry parts using the included joiner. Then once I marked the mounting locations, I took them off so I could easily screw them in tight. Then I could feed the rod through the items in the right order to secure them. Once this was done on both sides, I tightened the threshold and installed the gate door. My wife went in the gate to swing in either direction, but there is a quick adjustment to make so the gate will stop when you push it closed. Lastly, testing the new barrier showed it would work just as expected if we use it right. Hopefully now everyone will be happy. So if you need a quick and possibly temporary separation across a wide area, this Regalo super wide safety gate should provide a flexible and sturdy solution that you're looking for.
