So if you don't want it swinging it's very easy. It even comes with the capability of putting in batteries so you don't have to have it plugged in and the insert for the seat comes out for easy washing. So you don't have to worry about spot cleaning which is amazing. Whether you're looking for yourself or a gift for your friends I highly recommend this baby swing. It is beautiful, super plush and it comes with preloaded lullabies and it can even be battery powered if you want. It is the perfect baby swing but that's just my point of view.
