Transcript
Hey guys, it's Sam here with WTI. I have to tell you about this book if you are a parent. This is a book that you have to read. This is called There's No Such Thing as Bad Weather. It is by a Scandinavian mom who is living in the US and she kind of talks about the differences in cultures and especially this fear of bad weather and your children being cold. So the Scandinavian culture, they really value cold being outside for your kids and how good that is for mental health and for your little one's behavior even. And this woman was just shocked when she had children and she came to the US and realized we don't value that as much. And so it's really, really eye-opening book that helps you to appreciate that value of bringing your kids outside. So I definitely recommend this. I also love that she kind of walks through some pointers for you to how to dress your kid for the right weather because their motto in these countries and areas is that there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes. So definitely recommend this book. It has been so helpful for me as mom and I want everyone to read it. So definitely check it out and that is my point of view.
