Hi, I'm Stacey with WTI. We have a fourth grader at home and so we started with this dictionary for her. Actually we started in third grade and it's been great and I really love it because it's going to be useful all the way up until high school years. So it's the Merriam-Webster's Elementary Dictionary. It's a modern version and it has lots of modern terms and words in it. But I really like it because it does have a little bit of pictures but not so much that it's going to get too basic as she advances in school. I also really like it because in the back it has grammar help and it also has geography. It includes some maps and it includes a whole dictionary section in the back just of geography names. So this is a great useful tool if I can talk her out of always trying to google things because we do like to encourage book use in the house and so this elementary dictionary is really awesome and that's my point of view.
