Hey, I'm Kayla with WTI and if you're like me always looking for some fun, easy activity that you can take on the go for your kids, you will love this one from Melissa & Doug. This is the Safari Animals Scratch Art and it is so much fun for little ones who love animals. What I really love about this is it also helps them to learn about the animals. So there are 12 different animals featured in this book and each page has a different clue about the animal that the child is going to scratch away to reveal. And then each page has a hidden picture in it. So you are supposed to scratch away the sections that have a little dot on them and then if you scratch at the star space, that actually shows the animal name. What I like about this book specifically is it takes time. It's not a quick get it done activity, but scratching away at each individual little space takes the child a decent amount of time and a decent amount of work. So this is able to occupy them for at least a few minutes. I was really impressed at the clarity of the pictures too. My son hasn't done all of them yet, but he is well on his way. I think my favorite has been the cheetah so far, but they are all very cool.
