Hey, it's Kate with WTI and I wanted to tell you about one of my most used appliances and it's the Instant Pot. This thing is fantastic. So back in the day everyone had a slow cooker and they swore by it, but if you are not a planner like me then a slow cooker doesn't do you much good. So I love that this is also a slow cooker but on top of that it's a pressure cooker which means that if it's five o'clock and you didn't take out meat for supper and everything is frozen you can still throw it all in this pressure cooker and dinner will be ready on time. So that is something that I cannot live without as a procrastinator and I'm sure you'd love that too. Not only does it have those two functions but it's also a rice cooker, it's a steamer, it's a saute pan, it's a food warmer, it's a yogurt maker which is something I haven't tried yet. So all kinds of amazing features in one convenient little pot. It comes in different sizes and the lid is dishwasher safe, the inside is dishwasher safe, really easy to use, they have so many recipes online so you never really have to worry about your timing or how much liquid to put in or anything like that. It's all online, easy to follow. The only thing you have to remember is to have liquid in it. Now if you forget, as I have more than once, it has a really cool feature where it stops working and in bright red letters it says burn. So it won't continue cooking until you have liquid in it. So you never have to worry about ruining your dinner, it'll warn you and you can fix the problem. A lot of people are also nervous about pressure cooking but this thing is so safe, you cannot open that lid when there's pressure in there, it has to pressure release before you can even open it up. So very very safe and user friendly. I've made all kinds of things in here, roast beef and stews and soups and all sorts of stuff. You honestly cannot go wrong so don't hesitate, pick one up, I definitely recommend it and that's my point of view.
