Hey everybody and welcome to What Tools Inside's Point of View. This is Matt and I'm Josh. And today we're going to make some fancy drinks for you. Josh is a very, he's a mixologist. I wish. He's been doing this for three months now. Three months now. Three days. Three solid days. I found a drink and I like it. No, but you used to be a bartender for years. I was for years. And I did really enjoy it. Talking to people. Yeah, that's really what it was. You know, it's using the gift of the gab. Which you don't have. What we're showcasing today are several different things that you can buy here on Amazon. One of which is this crystal mixing glass. Okay, so if you take a mix. It looks like kind of like a beaker or some kind. Yeah, well what I like about it is it has that pore. Right. That nose is very important. Because without that nose, it'll just spill over the glass and down your fingers and slide down the whole thing. Yes. Right. So what we, what you want to do first, we're going to show you, I'm going to mix the drink for you. Is you take your ice, right. And you put your ice cubes in here. Yeah. Just like so. A bit of ice. You want it to be nice and chill. So what are you using there? A little tongs? These are just little tongs. Yeah. Then you put your ice aside. Then you take your, your... You're pushing me right out here. Just ask me for things and I'll give it to you. Well, you've got a small, small camera here Matt. What do you want? Okay, so now, and then you take your, this little jigger it's called and it, it has a half a shot and a full shot. Right. People are over here Josh. Yeah. And so, you take your shot here and put it in. Okay. But every good old-fashioned is two shots, Matt. Okay. Then you take this guy. This guy here is a really cool spoon. It's, it's, it's for mixing. It's designed for mixing. It's got like a twist, like a rope braided... Right. So this is like when they designed that they have it so that they heat up the mill and then they spin it. Right. It gives it that spindle look. But what's nice is it has a nice large handle and you're, you put it in your glass. So you just pinch the top like that. Comfortable in the grip and then you just mix that around. You mix it around. What's that doing right now? Just chilling in a bit? It chills it and it's getting the fro... Until you get the fro. Oh my. You gotta aggressively stir this. Then you can add a little bit of simple syrup or just regular sugar would be fine. Brand new here. Right. That's one of the best. Right. There's a little simple syrup in there. A little simple syrup. Right. Then you keep stirring. Then you take your strainer and once this is nice and chill, you take your strainer. So let's see you get that strainer. What is that? How does that work now? The strainer. So this is great. This, this, this little system here, they had, they, you can get all sorts of different kinds of strainers. They have, they're all the same idea. They have a spring loaded system that's, it fits tight in the cup in most size cups. Right. It fits there. So what you're going to do is you're going to strain that ice. That spring kind of provides tension to keep the strainer attached to the top of the glass. Right. So then you take your, your, your, your high ball of glass that you're going to be making your drink out of. Low ball or low ball, I should say. And then you take ice. Now this is a, this is a little ice cube that I love. Right. The bigger, the better. Because if you're using, if you're making a drink with small ice cubes, it becomes too watered down. Right. But look at this tray. This is what he's using. This is a like a silicone tray. It holds six different cubes in it. Makes six cubes, but that cube will last a long time because it's bigger and it will, it won't, it won't melt down and fall apart on you. Sitting in this ice way too long. Okay. I see you. So you pour that down over top of it. Nice. Like that. That's good. Looks good. Okay. And then you take your little garnish, maybe a lemon peel or an orange peel, whatever you like. And I don't have the bidders, but you put that in there like that and you serve it. And there's your drink. So all sorts of really great things that you can get from Amazon to make your home bar. One that is, it will make it, it doesn't make you like a, it's not like a complicated system to use. You're going to do this anyway. When you're making, you're going to hold your hand over it for the ice. This just makes it a little nicer, a little easier, more professional drink, and you'll get better and better at it as a mixologist, if you will. But that's just our point of view. Thanks for joining us this time with What Tools Inside. See you again, guys. Bye.
