First, make sure the little chef is back to the end of the threaded screw in an upright position. Place the ring on the rim of the bottle and center the end of the screw point to the cork. Twist using the handles. Once it's about three-fourths or even halfway into the cork, flip the little chef, laying him flat on his back, and turn the handles to extract the cork. And voila! Smooth up and out. Everything you need to enjoy a delicious glass of wine or two without worrying about cork fits in your wine. I really love the curves and thickness of this little chef's arms, making it easy and comfortable to twist smoothly and effectively. The little chef's face makes me so happy to look at.
