Hi, this is Megan with WTI. And this is the wall plate for our Google Nest 2020 Thermostat. We purchased it because our previous thermostat was an old, big rectangular one. And so when installing the new Google Nest, we realized that we would need a wall plate to cover up the large gaping hole that existed. So we opted for this one, the oval shape. We purchased the white and gray plate because we weren't sure which was going to look better. Our frame for our Google Nest is gray. However, because our wall is so light, it's a very light gray, the white actually blended in better with the wall. You can see it's about eight inches from end to end. For us, this fit perfectly in between our light switch and the frame of our door. And as far as length goes, it's about the size of a light switch. This was super fast, easy to install. And I definitely recommend this wall plate. If you need a little help, once you've installed your Google Nest to cover up any unsightly holes. And that's my point of view.
