These are such substantial batteries and they are curved so they fit comfortably against your leg. The charging cable is two-headed so you can charge both batteries simultaneously and can be controlled by an app. Because it isn't available on Google Play, you have to turn off the auto blocker, scan the QR code, make sure that batteries are on and connected so the app can find your socks. You have a quick heat button, set a timer, and set it to any desired temperature. I now live in a cold place and these are such a game changer. I love that it has a button down pocket so the batteries aren't going to slip out as you're moving. My husband and I do volunteer work and often are out in the early mornings when it is super cold. So having this app is so useful whether we're snowboarding, working, or getting up early in the morning to enjoy some beautiful sights like this year's Blood Moon and the Northern Lights. With these socks you can keep on moving even when it's cold but that's just my point of view.
