Helps you know which one you are pulling whether it is for the light or whether it is the fan. So this case this solves the problem. These are very very pretty. They are a 12 inch chain. You can shorten them for as long as how much you want. You can even use them for key chains. Really really pretty, really decorative. These are the bronze. They do come in different colors. Anyways if you are looking for a cute little set like that to decorate your place. Make things a little bit easier for you. I highly suggest these. I am very happy with them. They are very cute. You get lots of compliments on them. And I am sure you will too.
