Do you struggle to get the lock closed on your current pet door? I'm Gina with WTI and that was one of the top things that we were looking to solve when we got this door from Depets. The lock mechanism is smooth and easy to use and it has four different options. So we generally lock it from coming in or out for our baby scully so that she's inside the warehouse and no raccoons can get in at night. My husband installed this over an existing hole and this does come with a template. I especially like that the door itself has some weather stripping around the edges. So I know that in the winter time it's going to help cut down on any kind of cold air coming in. This is a really strong and durable pet door and it's definitely met all of our needs. And that's our point of view.
