DANCING BEAR Rock Activity Kits

Hi, it's Hannah with WTI. I love when I find an activity kit that not only is educational, but is fun for me and my kids who vary in ages from three to fifteen. And that's exactly what this mineral rock geode kit from DANCING BEAR does. We had a lot of fun despite my kids not being very excited when I said, hey, come sit at the table and let's do a little education. But they have tons of rocks in this. They have rough ones and tumbled ones, which I really like because it shows the pretty ones, but it also shows what you're actually going to find in nature. So it has an ID kit, a little pamphlet that explains the basics of rock hunting. You even get these two geodes that my sons were able to crack open and see the beautiful crystals inside. So I am thrilled with this. Not only were we able to ID the ones from the kit, but we recently went to Lake Superior and I collected a ton of rocks and we were able to identify a lot of them as you see here. So it was really fun. Not only is it for older kids who can understand everything, but even my three year old daughter, I got it out and she loved playing with the rocks, but she would sort them by color. So really fun activities. This is a super fun kit from a very young age all the way up to adults where I thoroughly enjoyed this. So if you are looking for some really fun activities that will also educate your kids a little bit, I highly recommend the set. It was so fun. But that's just our point of view.
