And it makes so much more room. I hated in my other tables that crack in the middle that gunk would get into. It was disgusting. That's not the case with these. These side to the end of the table. So when you don't need them, the table is one cohesive piece. It is amazingly solid. I was worried that it wasn't going to be a solid and kind of bow or you wouldn't be able to put your weight on it. But that's not the case. They have a lot of different colors also. So depending on what your finishes on your table, you can get the finish to match and they are all really beautiful. This is the Brazil color and I thought it was really pretty. If you're looking for a TableChamp table, I highly recommend them. Their quality is super sturdy and really beautiful. If you already have a TableChamp table, you know that these extensions are no different. They are very solidly made. They are beautifully matched.
