Our Point of View on The Toll (Arc of a Scythe) Book From Amazon

Hey, I'm Nicole with WTI, and let me introduce you to the final book in Neil Shusterman's Arc of the Scythe series, The Toll. This book follows Grayson Tolliver as he forms kind of a strange new religion and sets himself up as the figurehead. And at the beginning of the book, we see that our main protagonist, Citroen and Rowan, have gone missing, and the evil antagonist, Saev Goddard, has become the high blade of mid-merica. So he is the leader of all the scythes in his continent, and he has abolished the gleaning quota, meaning that his murderous band of scythes can kill as many people as they want to without any legal repercussions. This book weaves in twists and turns until it reaches this fantastic, suspenseful climax, which involves a conspiracy regarding space travel and the very future of humanity. The last few pages of this book are so emotional. It is an amazing ending for Rowan and Citroen, but also a little heartbreaking. It is enough to make a grown adult cry. So, set aside most of the day to read this hefty book and don't miss this explosive ending of The Toll by Neil Shusterman. That's my point of view.
