Our Point of View on Short-term Spoken Chinese Books From Amazon

Hello, I'm Nina with WTI and I'm sharing the short term spoken Chinese book today. This book has helped me improve my Chinese, it's improved my vocabulary and it's also improved my grammar. I'm about two thirds of the way through. What I like about this book is that it feels like a workbook. I don't want to read a novel in Chinese, it's very intimidating to me. So I feel like the amount of vocabulary they give you in lesson is appropriate. So you've got your vocabulary list and then next you'll have a dialogue like with Chinese characters but it's not overwhelming. So here's the next page. You've got something to read in Chinese but like I said, the page is not filled with characters because you're not going to remember all these characters. You're going to be looking some up and writing so you feel like you've got plenty of space to write notes or if you're going through this book with a tutor, you can actually write in it. So I thought that was really cool. After you read a dialogue, there's a little interaction, fill in the blank dialogue so you're using what you just learned. So this has been a really great book for me and I think it can help a lot of other people and that's my point of view.
