Our Point of View on Downton Abbey Seasons 1 & 2 DVD Set From Amazon

Hi there, I'm Alex from WTI. I can't begin to tell you how much I love the Downton Abbey show. Ever since the very first episode I was hooked and it is such an incredibly written story. The characters are incredible. The first season you get to learn, just kind of introduce the characters. Dame Maggie Smith steals the show in my opinion. She's got the best lines in the whole series. It's such a great storyline. The first season goes into talking about whether or not they're going to have an heir because there was a question about who was going to be the heir of Downton Abbey. The actual mansion itself is a character in itself. It is absolutely gorgeous. I would love to go visit it at some point. It's just an incredibly beautiful house or mansion. The second season has a little bit more romance in it. Some romance stories. Before I forget, I can't even believe I forgot this, is the staff. The staff in the show are the ones who are like the maids and the butlers and everything. They're their own story as well. I find sometimes their stories are way more interesting sometimes. The whole dynamic between the servants and the people who own Downton Abbey and their lives that entwine is an absolutely incredibly written story. You're going to love them and you better get both seasons to start off with because you're going to binge watch them right away. That's my point of view.
