Hey, I'm Nicole with WTI and this is The Carnivorous Carnival, Book 9 in Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. So, after escaping the hostile hospital from Book 8, the three bottle-air orphans find themselves taking refuge in a creepy carnival. Now, this is the book where they meet the very first member of the mysterious organization called VFD. So, they start to learn a little bit more about their parents' lives and deaths. This book also features some great vocabulary definitions from Lemony Snicket as every book. He especially defines the word carnivorous in this book because there are some half-starved carnivorous lions that may or may not end up eating a protagonist. So, you know, it is a series of unfortunate events. That's just what you're gonna get. But that does not make it any less entertaining or intriguing of a read. In fact, Book 9, this one here, is the one that fascinated me the most as a kid when I was first reading the series for the very first time. So, whether you're a kid or an adult, this is a can't miss installment of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. And that's my point of view.
