Hey everybody, welcome to What Tools and Sides Point of View. I'm Josh, this is Matt. And today we're talking Amazon's Choice, their kettle. And I love it. I use it every single day. Now we're going to actually show you guys from how this actually heats up water. Right now it's not hot at all. It's just water, right? In the pot. I like the illustration. I want to make it clear. I'm going to turn it on. I'm just kidding. I'm going to turn it on here so you can see there's a little orange light that turns on when it's running. This is an electric kettle. So as soon as you put it on this base, it starts heating your water up. It's like you want another one of an electric kettle. But what's the difference in this? It's just so much faster. It's like an induction heat. And I use it every morning for my coffee. Because I do a French pass. So I put my water on. I take my grinder out. And by the time I'm done grinding my beans with the electric grinder, putting it in the French press coffee pot. My water is done. And it's ready. You can even hear it already starting to work. This is very impressive. It's a very reasonable price on Amazon. These are fantastic. Now here's the thing you've got to think about. It's got a plastic candle here that's insulated so you don't have to worry about burning yourself. The kettle itself gets hot like any normal kettle would. The difference is the base doesn't. Right. The base that it sits on and the base of the kettle stays cool. Exactly. And I'll show you that in just a second. So it's already starting to get quite warm. What is it getting really that's almost going to be boiling. It's incredible how fast this thing for it. I'm going to make sure we got a cup here we can pour it into. Once it's done boiling, like it's a full rapid boil, it will turn off. And so it you know so that it just doesn't waste electricity. You want to make some oatmeal in the morning like those instant oatmeal or whatever. Perfect. Perfect for that or a tea at night. You don't have to boil a whole bunch of water just to adjust the amount that you need for that little cup and a half or two. And it's ready to go for you that quickly. Now you've definitely heard the saying a watched pot never boils. Well that's not true with this electric kettle. You've been watching this electric kettle and that water is almost boiling. You can hear it. It's almost there right now. It's boiling at this point. It's going to turn off in a second. Yeah. You want to wait though. We're going to wait for that. It's a boiling boil ready to go. You like to have instant oatmeal don't you guys? Never. It's a full boil. Why did you open it? Because I wanted to see. You can listen to it. Ah it's hot. It just kicked off. Do the hand test now. Oh no way man. It's a kettle worth having. Can you see that in the camera? The steam? There you go. That's boiling. Boiling water. That fast.
