They came very well packaged in a small box and individually wrapped in bubble wrap, so you know that what you're going to get is not chipped or scratched by the time you get them. I know with my crazy life with kids and pets, I'm super thankful that they won't shatter if they fall. So I can still have my beautiful flower arrangements and not have to worry about them breaking. I think that makes them perfect for not only busy households, but also for wedding receptions or graduation parties, really any kind of occasion that would be around a lot of movement. You can party down and not have to worry about your beautiful centerpieces breaking or hurting anyone. They come in different styles. I chose the classic round ones, but you can also get them in more of a modern square design. They're seven and a half inches high and perfect for small flower arrangements.
