Hey guys, it's Kate with WTI and we're out at the ice hut today. We're doing some ice fishing and we're using our Venterior fish finder. Let me show you how it works. Once you know the depth of your ice, in our case, in the rice fishing, which is very deep, you set up your little flotation at the top and you're ready to go. This is the transducer, so that goes down into the water and it uses sonar to detect what's going on below. Really awesome for detecting fish obviously, but also just kind of what environment you're looking at. So now you drop it down. Now you turn on the monitor and it's going to read our depth. So we have it set in feet so you can see it's 28, 28 and a half feet deep here. So to change any of these settings, you push and hold the setup button and then you see it blinking and then you can cycle through with the button now. The first setting there is for sonar. So depending how sensitive you want it, if you are in an area with maybe other fish finders, you would want less sensitivity or if you have really dark water, you might want it more sensitive. So the next one is a battery saver mode. The one after that is your volume. So it'll actually beep if you have any fish activity. You can turn this on or off. That one is to change whether you want your backlight on or not and then your battery life. These little icons at the bottom show whether you have big or small rocks, big or small weeds, the size of your fish you're looking at. So this is the sample mode. This is going to show you what it would look like if we had a lot of fish activity. We're not fortunate enough to have this many fish where we're fishing right now, but you can see that it really changes the size. It shows you how deep your fish are. So then you can adjust your depth to have the best chance at catching your dinner. So great little device. It's very portable. It's rugged. The battery goes in the back there. It's got your little strap so you can hold on to it. Obviously you wouldn't want to get this part wet or damaged, but the rest of it is made for the water and you're good to go. It's nice and rugged and I'm really pleased with it. So if you want to improve your ice fishing game or any fishing, really, then I highly recommend this Vinterior fish finder and that's my point of view.
