Our Point of View on Transon Watercolor Brush Sets

Hello, I'm Katie with WTI and if you are a new artist, I want to share my recommendation for brushes. This is the Transon 2-Pack 50-Piece Painting Set. Now what you get is 2 packs of the same 10 painting brushes. Now these are perfect beginner brushes. I recommend them for watercolor or gouache as that's how I've been using them and what I appreciate is they really hold a nice amount of water which you really want for watercolor or gouache since those are both water based. It gives a really nice even paint a stroke. I find that it picks up the paint really well. Now why I like that it's 2 packs of the same brushes is that often with watercolor you're going back and forth between paint and water as you're going through the process. And if you like a particular brush, well you have to keep cleaning off that brush so that you can flip back and forth between the paint and between the water. Now when you have 2 of the same brush you can have one that's specifically for the paint and one that's specifically for clean water. Which I really really like. When you love a certain brush you get attached to it. You also get pretty much 1 of every kind of brush you want to start with. You have angle brushes, wash brushes, pretty much everything that you need to start out and figure out the techniques to go with different brushes. Also they're not super expensive so you're not going to feel bad about really learning with these brushes if you happen to ruin them while you're using them. So again if you are a beginner I recommend these brushes from Trans-in and that is my point of view.
