So fumbling for keys is so not something anyone is interested in doing and that is totally avoidable with this lock. So there are several ways to get into your home. The one that we use the most is the fingerprint. So you can set up fingerprints for the entire family. Another option is to have a passcode. I love this one for giving to friends and family. You can pre-program it in there and then you can hand out whatever passcode you'd like to give them. You can also have some that expire. So if you have an Airbnb or you have a repairman coming, you can give them a temporary passcode. They'll be able to gain entry the one time or for a short period of time and then you can have it expire. And of course you can use a key. So if you're old school and you'd rather use a set of keys, you can absolutely do that and it's nicely hidden. You just slide this little panel over and there's your spot for your key. The control panel lights up in the dark and it also has a really cool feature. So if you're trying to keep your passcode a secret from onlookers, you can add a few numbers at the beginning, a few extra at the end. As long as the middle sequence is your correct passcode, you can still get into your home. The instructions are nice and clear. It's easy to install. It comes with a template which makes it really easy. It also comes with an instruction manual which makes programming this very simple. You can also download an app if you want to so you can control it all from your phone. It's water resistant so it's good for outdoors in the rain. The battery will last you about a year before you have to replace it. It's a nice look. This one is black. It looks modern. It's very simple and will go with any style.
