Our Point of View on the Sony Retractable Zoom Lens From Amazon

Hey everyone, it's Janae with WTI. So today I wanted to share my thoughts on the Sony 16-50mm lens. This is an E-mount lens that I have been using with my Sony A6000 camera. Let me just say that I am not a professional photographer. I mostly take pictures for things like outings with my family or just everyday moments with my kids. And so there's a couple things that I've appreciated while using this lens in those situations. So first of all, it's very compact. As you can see, it's not big at all. And that's really amazing given the zoom range on this lens. So it just makes it really easy for packing away in my camera bag. And if I'm wearing my camera around my neck, it doesn't feel too heavy. Second of all, it has a really fast auto focus, which is great if you're into sports photography or any kind of action shots. Like I said, I'm always taking pictures of my kids and kids never want to sit still. So having that fast auto focus is a necessity for me. The focal range has been perfect for me. I find that the 16-50mm range is diverse and does just what I need. So at 16mm I can get some nice landscape shots and then at 50mm I can get some nice portrait shots. So very useful for different situations, different types of photography. And I've been really happy with the pictures that I've taken on this lens so far.
