Hey, it's Paola again and here I'm just going to talk about something really important. It happens to all of us women and it's a big part of our life. Let's talk about our periods. Yes, most people don't like to talk about it too much, but I think as women we should share if we find something that makes our life easier during that time. So I am here to tell you about Softdiscs. This is Softdisc. It comes in a box of 14 and I'm sure you have been hearing about all the alternatives to tampons. There's been the Diva Cup, a bunch of other ones, but this one is different than those in the way that it's placed. So they come individually wrapped and these are disposable. That's the nice thing because I think some of those other ones, like you need to sanitize them and store them safely to reuse, but these you can just throw away. So that's convenient. So this is what they look like. I know that looks huge, but look, they flex so easily. They are really easy to put in and it holds quite a bit of liquid in there. So the way this sits, it's not actually in your vaginal canal. It's all the way up and tucked away. So it's more comfortable than wearing a tampon. I used to have really bad cramping when I used to use tampons and ever since I switched to these, it's like I even forget sometimes I have my period. I don't know why, but just the fact of not having something in your canal, I guess helps with cramps. Also, you don't get the P string. You don't have to worry about it slipping out. This thing is pretty secure. Once you get the hang of it, you really don't have much accidents. So here on the box, it says that this can be worn up to 12 hours. It's disposable after each use, cannot be felt while wearing and I can attest to that because sometimes I even forget that I have my period. Like I am so busy and then I think, oh wait, I gotta go change this thing. They say you can wear it during sex. It does not inhibit physical activity, helps prevent menstrual odor, and does not cause irritation or dryness. Now that to me is one of the biggest perks because I used to feel like tampons were just literally, well they are absorbing what they should be, but more than that. I felt so dry. It would almost hurt sometimes to pull it out. If you ever felt like it was just scraping the insides because it's so dry, well that's how I felt. So I love these. Never going back. You can definitely wear them with swimming and they even come with disposable pouches to be able to remove them easily without mess in public. So that would be a benefit because I'm not going to lie to you. It can be messy to pull out, but once you get the hang of it, it's not that bad. It's just if you work all day out and about, you should probably get those disposable pouches to remove them, but that's just my point of view.
