This is one of those mounts that you can stick in once and completely forget about. Hi, this is Elizabeth with WTI and let me tell you about the strength of the Suction Cup phone mount from Scosche Industries. It takes less than 30 seconds of setup. Simply stick it onto the windshield, pull the tab down to suction and it's all done. I've had the most success with that mounting on my windshield because it firmly stays placed while driving. The head of the mount is super easy to position so your phone is always at the right angle. For this to be the most secure, use the magic plate that is provided. Now I did use my own phone case that has a small ring magnet to test it out and it did hold it, but for it to be firmly secure, you're going to want to use the magic plate that can either be attached to your phone case or you can place the plate between a thin phone case. This added magic plate is super strong and I definitely recommend so that it keeps your phone attached and secure even when hitting potholes. Overall, I like that the phone is secured with a very strong magnet and this makes it easy and quick to be able to retrieve my phone whenever I need it, but that's just my point of view.
