You put your sticky tape on top. It's got Velcro on the other side, Velcro on the black out panel and one, two, three, boom, you're done. You see how easy it is? I've got them for both my front and my back door. Then you take this strap that's at the back and you roll up the material on both sides and then you've gone from a blackout curtain to a little pull up blind. I love this whole design.
