Our Point of View on Round Catch Covers

Hey it's Kate with What Tools Inside and I wanted to show you our new catch cover. So this is for our ice fishing hut. It covers your ice fishing hole. And so the outside gets screwed right into the floor. You can see it has all the holes. And then this lid fits securely on top. So this is actually really secure in here. It's not going anywhere. So I'm going to put a little muscle into it. There you go. So nice and tight. This is the part that goes on the floor and it is a 12 inch diameter. And then your lid. So this is made of plastic that's meant to withstand really cold temperatures. But there's a few reasons why we're really excited about having this. So for one thing when you're transporting your ice hut to the lake a lot of things can get thrown up into the ice hut. The dirt, the salt, all of the things from the road. So this will keep it nice and clean and safe. But also you don't know how many times we've lost things down our ice fishing hole. My husband's glasses. We've lost keys and all sorts of things. So to keep it covered when it's not in use is really important. And also it's a safety thing. So you can walk on this. You don't have to worry about people falling through, especially if you have little kids. It can give you some peace of mind. Right now our ice fishing hut is under construction but when it is done and ready we have two of these to install. I'm very happy with the quality of them. We're thrilled with our purchase and that's our point of view.
