This can also be used for paperclips or other items that you may have laying around your desk that you just want an essential spot. I think it's a huge step in organizing your desk and having that neat tidy workspace that we all want. What I really like about this is the nice wide opening. It can hold even the bigger larger size items which is really important. Say you have tape or staple remover or anything else like that, it can hold that as well.
