You simply turn this knob here and this cover goes all the way back, which is really nice. Then you just pull this strap and it locks right into place. Also, there's a security feature here that has a lock. One of the main reasons why I wanted this was because it keeps everything weatherproof and clean in my truck bed and there's almost no dead space in my truck. A lot of covers will not collapse completely and this is only about six inches of dead space. In addition to that, I can just roll this back and when I need to, I can put whatever I need to load in here that might be higher than this. But overall, this is a great cover if you're in the market for a truck bed cover. I would definitely recommend this one. It's easy to use, it's practical, it's secure, it's weatherproof, it keeps everything clean and that's my point of view.
