Hey I'm JT with WTI and I want to tell you why this Rockport 7.25 inch circular saw blade might be an easy choice for you. This blade is designed for framing materials and I found when cutting through 2x4s and sheets of plywood it had no problem working its way through. Its 5.8 inch arbor fit fine on my circular saw and I had no problem getting up and running. It's great for swapping out with some of my finished blades to make sure that if I hit something a little crazy it's not going to wreck an expensive blade. Overall the carbide tip blades worked fine for this application and I think it would work great for you. And I think I'll keep one or two of them around for whenever I need them. So if you need a saw blade that's going to take care of all your rough cuts while working with framing materials and extend the life of your other blades I think this Rockport 7.25 inch saw blade is an easy choice to have around and I think you'll like it. But that's just my point of view.
