Hi, this is Fiona with WTI and I'd like to share with you a really cool card game called NOPE. It's by Ridley's Games and like it says here, it's totally unique gameplay. So like most card games where you want to get rid of all your cards, in this game you want to be the last one standing with cards. Let me show you an example of a turn in the game. So on my turn I would look at the discard pile to see how many cards I may have to get rid of, which in this case is two. So I either have to get rid of two cards with yellow or two cards with blue. So I look at my hand and yes, I've got two cards with blue. So I would discard these and then the next person would have to get rid of three cards of either blue or red. Now let's say I didn't have two blue cards or two yellow cards. At the end of my turn I would take a card which is good because you want to be the last one standing with cards and oh no I got another blue one so I would have to get rid of these and then the game would continue. But if I didn't get a card with either blue or yellow I would say NOPE, get to keep my extra card which increases my chances of winning and then play would continue. And then there's also action cards that may help you avoid discarding cards on your turn. All in all I think NOPE is a really fun card game that's really easy to learn and good for all ages and that's just my point of view.
