I decided to try the PurSteam after my old iron unfortunately passed away after 20 something years of service. Rest in peace, baby. Besides being a lot newer, it also has a lot of great functions. For instance, you can choose between your material type, a mix, going all the way up, the cotton, the jeans, the linen, and then just to move it down, you press this button right here. You can spray, you can steam, all kind of things you'd expect out of an iron. And it's got this nice little water reservoir right here. And not only does it automatically shut off if you leave it there for a while, but since I'm a terrible folder of laundry, it really does a great job smoothing out my shirt. So if you are overdue to upgrade your iron and you want to keep your clothes nice and neat and presentable with minimal fuss and all the bells and whistles, I would definitely recommend the PurSteam Ultra Steam Iron.
