Hi guys, Darlene from What Tools Inside here and this is my adorable ragdoll cat, Persia. She is about five years old and has been relatively healthy the whole time we've had her except for about a year ago. She was really uncomfortable. We took her to the vet and it turned out she had a feline urinary tract infection. That is why we started to buy her this. We treated her condition and she's been fine ever since but the vet said that an easy way to prevent that sort of thing is by giving them a soft food like this. So this is the Purina Pro Plan Urinary Tractal Variety Pack and I like to get her, this has 24 cans, I like to get her the Ocean White Fish and Salmon variety. We've tried the turkey and the chicken as well but she seems to get really excited for this stuff. So the reason it helps with that is that it reduces the urinary pH and provides low dietary magnesium. I'm not sure the science behind it but I do know that she has been healthy and happy ever since. We've been giving her this at dinner time for over a year and she loves it and we've had no issues. So I recommend you give it a try but that's just our point of view.
