Hi, this is FreewoodsWTI. Today I've got this Pendoo vacuum sealer. We have used vacuum sealers for years on a lot of meat. I've been very impressed with this one. So let me show you how it works. It has the auto function and the emergency stop is the same button. Seal, vacuum. Because sometimes you just want to seal a bag, which I'll show you. Sometimes you just want to vacuum a bag. And then the mode, gentle or normal, I just keep it on normal. And then this one's important to moist or dry. So I am doing moist right now because I have ground beef. They want you to leave 3 inches of headspace at the top, which to be honest, I've gotten away with less. And it was still okay. But you put it in here. They even have it marked where the middle of the vacuum sealer is. That's where you want to make sure you have the edge of your bag. And it's super easy. You just click it into place and press auto. This is actually the quickest vacuum sealer I've used. So ahead of time, I squeezed it and made sure I had all the air bubbles out of the actual ground beef itself because it's so fast that you don't have time to really squeeze it during it. That's a little trick I learned from my mother-in-law. This is another trick I learned from my mother-in-law. I cut the bag in half because I only have a little bit. I have about a half a pound of ground beef left. So you cut it and you're going to want to seal one end to begin with, which is super simple. This is, you don't need to go into the middle on this one because I'm not going to vacuum anything out. I'm only going to seal this time. Here we go. So I've made my own new bag. Now I'll put meat in this. So here's my little bag that has a fresh seal on the bottom. I have about a half a pound in there. Put it in, snap it down, and press auto. Very quick. Overall, it's really great. Like you saw, I did half a pound of meat, a little over a pound, two pounds. It was all super quick. Every once in a while, a tip would be it can overheat if you're doing a ton. Like when we're processing a deer, sometimes we have to let it cool down a little bit because even though you want to get that nice seal, the machine can get too hot. You just unplug it for about less than a minute. It cools down and you can continue on. So this is a really good buy for processing a lot because it's very, very quick. I thought that the bags that it came in are really good quality. And my favorite part about the bags were it has the easy tear on the end. So you're going to put your meat in, seal this end, and then when you go to use it, you're just tearing that tab down like that. It's really, I thought that was a really thoughtful thing that they added to it. So if you're a big family and you want to store your food so it doesn't go bad, if you like to meal prep, this works really well. If you live on your own and you want to buy meat in bulk and freeze smaller portions so that you're not having to defrost a bunch, this comes in really handy. I think it's a really good buy. That's my point of view.
