Our Point of View on the Outline of Russian Grammar Book

Hi, this is Michael with WTI and this is my copy of Shown's Russian Grammar. This is by McGraw-Hill. They publish a lot of language books and they're very, very good. I have a lot of McGraw-Hill books. I like the way they're laid out in a simple manner. I bought this book because I am a Russian language tutor and I needed a quick reference for inspiration for homework for my students. If I cover a specific grammar point with my students, I want to give them homework about it right away so that they don't forget before the next session. So I do like how McGraw-Hill lays these books out. You see you have, for example, a quick explanation of a grammar point and then you have a few different exercises so that you can quickly practice what you study, which is the perfect format for learning grammar. So I usually recommend my students to try and set aside maybe 15 minutes a week and study a grammar point. So this book would be perfect for that if you're learning Russian but you're struggling with the grammar. You don't need to kill yourself with the grammar but you could use this book to set aside maybe 15 minutes, a half hour a week and go over one grammar point and just gradually you'll see your grammar start to improve. So I like this book. I think it's very, very useful and that's my point of view.
